The primary responsibilities of this position are to greet customers entering the scales, collect the necessary information to allow salt loading, and complete the transaction paperwork when the customer is departing the scale area.   The hours for this role are 5am-1pm Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work depending on weather conditions. This will include creating training content for the safety program, conducting classroom and on-line training for Power Systems and Earth Moving Technicians; developing criteria and evaluating Technician qualifications to work on various equipment; managing the inventory of specialized PPE and the vendors; assisting the Safety Department with in-store and in-field inspections; training Technicians on how to complete electrical safety JHA's/inspections; and conducting annual observations.
