Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

 

As a Shop Technician in our Earthmoving Division, you’ll work on a wide range of Caterpillar and allied equipment:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Repair, rebuild, and overhaul major components
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment and systems
  • Complete service reporting and documentation
  • Stay current with evolving tools and technology
  • Work safely and collaboratively with your team

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of heavy equipment or diesel technician experience
    (or Diesel Tech degree)
  • Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical, and drivetrains
  • Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills (service systems & documentation)
  • Your own tools
  • Pride in your workmanship and a safety-first mindset
