Overview

Branch Managers support cohesive operations in the store territory for a variety of Caterpillar and allied partner machinery, equipment and services.  We engage with a wide variety of industries, businesses and customers, to help keep their equipment performing reliably.  This position oversees the daily operations of the branch, primarily in support of sales & rental, service & repair, parts ordering, fulfillment & inventory, customer service, as well a some HR and facilities aspects for the store.  This role manages a dedicated team, to drive revenue growth in the market and deliver on a top-notch customer experience.  Your leadership will be key to ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, employee engagement and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000 + bonus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years previous experience in heavy equipment or associated industry
  • Experience in the equipment sales, rental or construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Tech-savvy, data-informed and adaptable to evolving systems and tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history (this position will drive a company vehicle)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods with frequent bending.
  • Capability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Occasional travel to and from customer job sites, or within our Northeast territory.
