Overview

Join Milton CAT as a Field Dispatch Supervisor and play a key role in delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency in our Earthmoving division.  This position is at the heart of our customer service operations, ensuring timely and effective dispatch of field service technicians while maintaining high standards of communication and safety. 

 

**Pay Rate:** $75,000.00 - $90,000.00/year, based on location, education, and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and communicate service request schedules with customers.
  • Review of service request criteria including all pre diagnosis, parts ordering and tooling needs.
  • Coordinate daily activities with Field Service Technicians to optimize response and repair times.
  • Serve as the liaison between customers and technicians from scheduling through job completion.
  • Oversee technician performance, time management, and productivity.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and provide ongoing support.
  • Enforce safety policies and conduct field-based safety audits.
  • Facilitate support on complex jobs through collaboration with Technical Communicators.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. 

  • A basic understanding of gas and diesel engines, as well as generators.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar and Competitive Products.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management position.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, both internal and external.
  • Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a sense of urgency
