Overview

In this newly created role, you will support the company’s efforts to engage with customers and prospects, employees and potential employees, and the communities our products work in, through engaging content.

 

You will work closely with other members of the marketing team to identify opportunities, create strategies, develop campaigns and manage distribution through websites and other media channels. 

Responsibilities

  • Research and refine assigned content topics to craft stories that are engaging and position the Milton organization and its business units as experts and thought leaders in the industry.  
  • Bring stories to life across multiple media types including video, long form content and supporting imagery. Work with agency partners and vendors to ensure on-brand content and optimal placement.  
  • Lead the creation of multimedia content stories designed to promote products and brands across all of Milton CAT's lines of business, including: machine sales, equipment rentals, power systems, and product support. 
  • Capture stories "in-the-field" by interacting with customers and employees across the Milton organization's territory in New England and upstate New York  
  • Travel to dealership locations, customer jobsites, events, and other locations to capture content and footage. 
  • Establish rapport with employees and customers. Lead participation and set the creative direction while on location.  
  • Work with Marketing Director and Managers to prioritize content needs and delivery schedule.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related major preferred. 
  • Collaborative leadership – proven ability to build cross-functional relationships, navigate challenges and be a great team member. 
  • Proven experience in writing, producing, and creating content that is designed for marketing purposes 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interview story subjects in order to capture key themes and messaging points  
  • Business mindset – ability and interest in learning the business and becoming a partner with business leadership. 
  • Strong project management skills; including ability to start and manage projects independently 
  • Ability to travel to Milton Rents and Milton CAT locations throughout New England and upstate New York.
