Overview

Milton CAT is seeking a Work In-Process (WIP) Manager, working from any of our 14 Service locations. The Work In-Process Manager will be responsible for initial Service customer interface and final invoice completion to the customer, including Warranty claim submissions. The candidate will work with Service, Parts, Sales and Power Systems Managers from all locations on the efficiency of Service work orders and Warranty claims with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability.

 

Pay Rate: $80K+ based on experience. 

 

Note: We are recruiting for one open position and have advertised this position in multiple cities within our territory.

Responsibilities

  • Management of the Warranty and Customer Support Departments to include oversight of the work order creation and invoicing processes, Warranty claim submission and recovery, Service letter completion and timeliness, and enrollment of Warranty coverages
  • Analyze and interpret reports and scorecards to provide data driven insights towards efficiencies and profitability for the Service and Warranty Departments to execute
  • Develop, implement and maintain effective Service Operations processes to ensure customer satisfaction and timely invoicing and effective Warranty process execution
  • Define criteria for future systems development and process efficiency gains and facilitate new Service Operations related initiatives
  • Lead in sharing best practices and implementing common process throughout the Service Operations team
  • Work with Service Operations team on business planning and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess relevant bachelor’s degree and computer skills. Comparable years or service related experience may be evaluated in lieu of degree
  • Able to work effectively, interact and take direction from Executive Team as well as engage and work collaboratively with other Managers
  • Capable of effectively leading and mentoring employees ability to learn and effectively utilize the Microsoft AX business system as well as Microsoft CE on a daily basis for all aspects of Service Operations
  • Highly organized and capable of working, delegating, tracking and managing multiple projects at any given time
  • Outgoing and proud of the company and work we do - able to interact with customers on demand for tours, events and effectively convey the Milton CAT value and differentiation
