Overview

The Milton Organization (“Milton”) Fleet Operations Department is growing and seeking a Compliance Specialist to support our multi-state fleet operations.  This role will be involved in the driver compliance aspects, as well as the fleet health, inventory and maintenance aspects of fleet operations.

Responsibilities

  • Collect CDL and non-CDL driver qualifications and maintain DOT required files including application, annual reviews, current medical card and applicable background screening information
  • Annually (or more) review Milton drivers’ licenses and medical cards to ensure most up-to-date information
  • Work with managers to facilitate reasonable-suspicion testing and training and post-accident drug tests for drivers
  • Monitor GPS alerts for Milton vehicles; communicate with management or HR as needed
  • Assist in reporting and investigation of vehicle accidents
  • Provide monthly fleet inventory reports to managers
  • Prepare Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) forms, procedures, and governance
  • Assist with monitoring maintenance, service, inspection-scheduling and records

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required; additional education or certification desired
  • 2+ years experience in a fleet operations or driver program support position
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proficient in Word, SharePoint and Excel
  • Highly organized, with excellent follow through and attention to detail
  • Curiosity and drive to research and learn unfamiliar aspects of the role; self-motivated
