As a result of that growth we are adding key people like you to our staff.  We are looking for technologically driven grade foremen and surveying specialists to join our rapidly growing team.  If you have a passion for moving dirt once instead of twice; If you like to leverage technology to improve productivity on construction sites; if you know your way around construction plans, grade stakes, Robotic Total Stations, GNSS positioning, and machine control on dirt moving equipment, we want to hear from you!

 

Note: We are recruiting for multiple open positions and have advertised this position in several cities within MA and RI.

Responsibilities

  • Execute training to customers on the use of Trimble branded products in a “one on one” or small group setting on customers jobsites.
  • Become the “Subject Matter Expert” for construction layout utilizing Robotic total stations and GNSS technology.
  • Develop skill sets to support Trimble Business Center software (TBC) for 3D modeling and takeoff.
  • Support file management on construction sites for automated machine control as well as layout
  • Machine operating skills not needed but must have a comfort level working around operating machines.
  • Travel to new location potentially daily.
  • Work from home or office when not in field with our customers.
  • Work with a team of Survey Support Engineers who are experienced professionals in a collaborative, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Surveying or Construction Technology degree a benefit.
  • Experience with construction site layout using GNSS and Robotic Total Station technologies.
  • Solid survey techniques/background, know your way around live construction sites and grade stakes, blue prints, and 3D models.
  • Familiar in Trimble and/or Leica and/or Topcon layout technologies and how they are used on the construction site.
  • Desire to use technologies that could include Trimble Business Center, Siteworks, Works Manager, Works OS, TDS Survey Pro, Carlson CE, Topcon Pocket 3D, or CAD based programs.
  • Passion for heavy equipment, technology, and productivity.
  • Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and the ability to travel throughout MA and RI as needed.
